How do we see?
We have two eyes. With these eyes we see everything. But the question is how do we see?
The ray of light from the object we look at falls on the retina through the lens of the eyeball or through the star. Incidental rays extend and are reflected in the retina. This results in tiny and inverted reflections of the object on the retina. When light stimuli are transmitted to the brain through the optic nerve, we see the object normally. The focus distance can be increased or decreased by changing the curvature of the lens with the help of muscles. As a result, we can see everything near or far. This is called eye adaptation.
